Depac Metal-Free Anti-Seize Product Summary

Depac Metal-Free Anti-Seize is a unique compound made up of inorganic (synthetic) solid lubricants in the form of metal oxides and anti-corrosion additives. It is a highly effective anti-seize that is moisture and water repellent, guards effectively against seizxing, galling, corrosion, rusting or pitting, and can be used at high pressures and temperatures from -60°F up to 2500°F.

Unlike other anti-seize products on the market, Depac Metal-Free anti-Seize is free of any hazardous ingredients, such as copper, aluminum, graphite, nickel, metallic lead powder, zinc powder, petrolatum, molybdenum-disulfide, or hydrocarbon carriers, fillers, or drying agents.

Depac Metal-Free Anti-Seize also does not contain any other dangerous ingredients, toxins, or irritants, and is non-acid or alkaline. There are no required precautionary measures for handling or use other than conformance to normal shop procedures or safety standards. Disposal can be treated similar to mineral oil waste.

RANGE OF APPLICATION
Eases mechanical assembly of bolts, screws, flanges, gaskets, bushings, studs, bearings etc. Allows more accurate torque. Eases disassembly by preventing rust and corrosion and seizure up to 2500° F (1400° C). Permits reuse of threads and parts by preventing breakage during opening. Apply on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, iron, titanium etc. Do not use on oxygen systems or in presence of acetylene.

NONE METALLIC BASE
DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE is a compound which is –unlike conventional ANTI-SEIZE – not based on any metal particles. Therefore it can be used also in those applications where nickel or copper are not applicable because of electrochemical corrosion or health restrictions.

WHITE IN COLOUR
DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE is white in colour and offers a much wider range of applications than any standard anti seize compound which is restricted in its use due to the dark, metallic colour.

CORROSION PROTECTION
DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE is moisture and water repellant and guards effectively against corrosion, rusting or pitting.
It can be used on all metals including steel and stainless steal.

ANTI-SEIZE UP TO 2500° F – 1400° C
DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE is made of an unique formular which enables this material to be used not only at extremely high pressure but also used not only at extremely high pressure but also at high temperatures up to 2500° F.

The bearing capability and lubricity guarantees easiest assembly and disassembly of all metals, even after years of use.

THREAD SEALANT
DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE is a homogeneous mixture of high quality synthetic lubricants and anti seize particles. This formula guarantees best possible sealing especially of NPT threads.

For sealing of cylindrical threads or relatively loose threads it is recommended to use some hemp as filling agent between the threads in combination with DEPAC METAL ANTI-SEIZE. This combination between new and old sealing methods offers – unlike PTFE Tapes – best possible sealing even if the pipe threads are readjusted back and forth during installation.

Without DEPAC METAL-FREE ANTI-SEIZE the metal surfaces scrape each other when closing or opening. The surfaces suffer breakage or galling under high pressure or with dissimilar metals.

DEPAC METAL-FREE ANTI-SEIZE contains “millions of tiny non metal ball bearings” that separate the metal surfaces thus preventing galling or breakage.

APPLICATIONS

1. Apply to all nuts, bolts and fittings prior to assembly to ease assembly and disassembly.
2. Use as sealant for fittings especially pipe fittings with NPT or other tapered threads.
3. Use as additional sealant for sheet jointing to compensate for uneven flanges.
4. Use as lubricant also for extreme temperatures.
